STORIES FROM THE LIVINGROOM is a book of stories right out of the Old West. They are told in the fashion of oral histories just as you would have heard if you had lived in those days, when cowboys roamed the range. Whenever the old timers got together to share supper, and an evening, there was always time for reminiscing and telling their stories. Jon Garate, a master story teller learned the art from his father and others of the old timers. He rode with the old time cowboys, ranchers, and homesteaders, and is now one of the few surviving old timers.
